Why Neocities?↓

Despite my almost-nonexistent knowledge of them, using HTML and CSS feels super rewarding when I can finally get them to work.

The Purpose↓

I want a simple hub of all my weird interests for my friends and family to like.

Behind The Name↓

Besides the words jingling nicely in my mind, "Clay Pigeon" comes from a memory of getting a deer hunting license as a teen (which I never used and have never tried to get again) - I don't think I hit any of the clay pigeons cast for me. It's fitting in a symbolic way for a lot of things. Also, I love deer far too much to hunt them. Sitting in my parents' hunting blind in winter one year and watching a group of deer ten feet away sealed the deal on that!
